January 13, 2010 – AUSTIN, TEXAS- 360training.com has launched a new behavior based safety training DVD program entitled “All for One: The Meerkat Way”, which is based on the day-to-day life of one of the planet’s smallest, most vulnerable creatures, the meerkat.

Behavioral based safety is based on a school of thought that utilizes the science of behavior and attitude as a tool to decrease accidents, injuries, and illnesses on the job.

BBS, as it is also called, started in the 30’s when a man named Herbert William Heinrich, an employee of Traveler’s Insurance Company, studied thousands of accident reports and came to the conclusion that better than 85% of these accidents were a result of human error. Upon delving deeper into the issue, Heinrich found that the work environment, procedures, and attitudes of workers were at the root of the behavior driving the accident-prone behavior.

Produced and licensed by the Lattitude Group, footage was shot on location in the Kalahari Desert (Namibia, South Africa) by Simon King, the award-winning BBC cameraman who captured the hearts and minds of viewers with the hugely popular BBC Wildlife series, ‘Big Cat’s Diary’.

Carefully adapted to safety training, this stunning footage is brought into context by the vocal talents of Olivier Award Winner Toby Jones.

“All for One: The Meerkat Way” speaks to the root of the problem by using these principles in concert with an informative and entertaining glimpse into the life of the meerkat to train personnel and management in cooperativeness and attitude awareness and management.

June 7, 2007 (Albany, NY and Austin, TX) – 360training.com.com (www.360training.com.com) announced today its partner, The Empire State Restaurant & Tavern Association (ESRTA), has obtained approval of an online alcohol seller server training in New York State. The approval was granted by the New York State Liquor Authority and is the first of its kind, designed to certify employees on responsible alcohol service at on and off-premise establishments who sell alcohol to the public.

“We’ve conducted traditional classroom based server training for almost twenty years, but we expect that the convenience of online training will dramatically increase the number of servers trained in preventing underage drinking and sales to intoxicated persons”, stated Scott Wexler, ESRTA’s Executive Director.

“Our association has supported server training for a long time, but servers often faced barriers that prevented them from participating in these important programs,” according to Wexler. “Servers no longer have to miss out on this vital training due to time and location of classes,” Wexler added.

New York State Liquor Authority Chairman Daniel B. Boyle commented, “Education is the first step and an essential element in maintaining compliance with the ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) Law. Over the years, the ATAP (Alcohol Training Awareness Program) program has proven successful in instructing servers on their responsibilities when selling alcohol, leading to fewer incidences of underage drinking and sales to intoxicated persons”. “Offering ATAP over the Internet will significantly increase accessibility to the program, thus helping to educate more licensees and their employees statewide. I want to congratulate ESTRA for developing the first of its kind online ATAP program,” Boyle added.

The program focuses on the legal responsibilities of selling or delivering alcohol and provides training in practical skills to help licensees and their employees fulfill their legal responsibilities. Additionally, the ATAP program informs participants on the potential consequences of improper sale or delivery of alcohol. Licensees and individuals completing the ATAP program have the possibility of a limited affirmative defense in the event of an illegal alcohol sale to a minor.

The online training will be facilitated through ESRTA’s Virtual University (www.esrta.org) in partnership with 360training.com.com, a market leader in online compliance education. “The online learning delivery approach will allow servers to benefit from consistency in training material, competency-based testing, and anytime anywhere accessibility,” said Bill Vear, 360training.com.com’s Vice President of Public Safety Education. “The expertise and reach of ESRTA will be integrated with a nationally recognized educational platform that will be appreciated by the industry for its effectiveness and convenience,” Vear added.

The new online server training program is the second major initiative launched by ESRTA this year to improve compliance with the alcoholic beverage control law. Earlier in the year the association announced its new “ABC’s of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law” developed with the assistance of the State Liquor Authority. This program is the only comprehensive training program for licensees focused on their responsibilities as on-premises liquor license holders. The “ABC’s of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law” program is also available via ESRTA’s Virtual University (www.esrta.org).

“We see the development of these new compliance programs as a core mission of the association by giving licensees, managers, and servers the resources they need to meet their duties and responsibilities,” Wexler concluded.

July 12, 2007 – Los Angeles, CA – 360training.com, pioneers of the leading online food and alcohol safety program Learn2Serve, today announced the approval of its food handler safety course by the Los Angeles County Department of Public and Environmental Health (LAC).

Based upon the standards of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), Learn2Serve meets all mandatory training requirements for food establishment owners and employees in Los Angeles County.

“The introduction of a newly approved online certification program for this industry is a sign of forward thinking governance for technology based learning,” stated Ed Sattar, CEO of 360training.com. “More importantly it affords individuals with time or schedule constraints to remain compliant without over-burdening their workload”, added Sattar.

The Learn2Serve food handler certification course for LA County features integrated audio, multimedia, and video designed to prepare students for passing their CFP-ANSI accredited examination in Los Angeles County.

As the official training program for NEHA, the course trains users on food safety principals using the FDA model food code as well as LA County required topics on stormwater pollution and TB prevention.

Los Angeles County requires all food service operations to have a certified food handler on the premises. This is to ensure that food service workers are knowledgeable of correct practices in the handling, preparation, and serving of food in order to protect the public’s health.

AUSTIN, TX — August 8, 2007 — 360training.com.com, Inc. today announced the release of a new interactive product suite, Life Lessons, a Life Insurance sales training program designed to increase overall life production in the agency, leverage team member talent, cultivate career employees and provide a strategy for growth rather than attrition.

The genesis of Life Lessons is both personal and professional for Frank Radaszewski, a 20-year veteran of a North American top-five multi-line carrier. On one level the product is designed to foster a passion for providing life insurance to every client. On another level, the objective is to demystify the whole sales process that has plagued the industry and why an important change in industry practices is necessary. The course then provides the student with useful strategies for identifying new opportunities, creating and confirming appointments and presenting successful solutions during an appointment that result in a sale.

“Training in the insurance industry is keen on pre-license, continuing education and designation training offerings” said Ed Sattar, CEO of 360training.com. “We do a good job of helping people obtain and maintain their licenses, yet given industry turnover, there’s a real need for targeted sales training. The impact of turnover in the industry ripples up and down the supply chain affecting carriers, wholesalers, the entire field sales organization, human resources and the consumer. We believe Life Lessons will become the next generation standard in sales training for the Life industry”, added Sattar.

The Life Lessons product suite consists of a DVD, Workbook and Online course that complement each other. The 90 minute DVD is based on the popular seminar by Radaszewski, comprised of two tracks: a seminar track and a mentor track. The seminar track teaches the fundamentals of the Life Lessons system and all the concepts key to personal success in the life business including word tracks that teach the producer how to convert each client interaction into a life insurance discussion. The mentor track addresses a very important dimension in the career of anyone in the insurance industry – managing your attitude and seeing the importance of the work you are doing for your clients.

The Workbook helps the agent, producer or team member to learn how to develop personal benchmarks, size the market opportunity in your existing client base, calculate the incremental impact of additional life sales, and practice the easy-to-use formulas and math applications that can be used in client interviews to build credibility and lead to Yes decisions.

The Online Course provides added concept reinforcement for the Team Member through a guided, engaging tour of the Life Lessons suite’s main points. The student will complete interactive exercises and review key concepts in addition to hearing simulated client/agent interactions and objection-handling. Also available inside the online course are copies of all the tools developed by Frank Radaszewski to be used in client interviews such as the Formula for Life, The Math Lesson – Calculating the Client’s Draw and the Word Tracks.
