About this Package
Introducing our exclusive package tailored specifically for your first sales agent license renewal in Texas, as required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).
For your first sales agent license renewal, the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires 90 hours of Sales Apprentice Education (SAE). They also require adding the 8-Hour Texas Legal Updates course or the 6-Hour Broker Responsibility course if you have been made a supervisor by your broker.
If you need your SAE but NOT the Legal Updates, this package is for you. Enroll today!
If you're looking for both, you need our 98-Hour Texas SAE Standard Package with Legal Update I & II instead.
This package comprises three (3) essential courses, carefully selected to meet TREC's requirements.
*Effective 10/1/23, you must take the 30-hour Real Estate Brokerage course as part of your SAE.
Each course includes an official certificate of completion that you'll submit to TREC as proof of required training. It's important that your course completion documents are submitted to TREC at least 10 days before you submit your renewal application. If your courses aren't already in their system, your application will not be accepted. Unlike normal continuing education, it's not possible to defer SAE courses.
UPGRADE to Our Convenient On-Demand Proctoring for Your Final Exams
SAE courses require a proctored final exam. TREC accepts monitoring of your final exam by an eligible and/or TREC-accepted third party. Traditionally, this involves an in-person test with an eligible proctor, which remains an option if you prefer.
However, for an additional fee, we are pleased to offer a 100% online and on-demand TREC-accepted recorded proctoring system. This allows you to conveniently take your SAE finals anywhere, provided you have a camera, microphone, and internet connection.
Take advantage of this exclusive package today and ensure a seamless and hassle-free license renewal process. Upgrade your order now by adding the Recorded Proctoring Service to your cart. Don't miss out on this opportunity to meet your renewal requirements successfully and conveniently.

FAQs
How do I know you're a TREC-approved course provider?
360training's approved TREC Provider Number is 4591.
Is Continuing Education the Same as SAE?
No, the requirements are different. License renewals happen every 2 years in Texas. For all renewals, TREC requires 8 hours of Legal Update education.
The first renewal requires a total of 270 qualifying real estate course hours. If you obtained your license by submitting 180 hours of qualifying courses, you will need an additional 90 hours of elective SAE courses, plus 4 hours each of Legal Update I and Legal Update II courses. Sales agents who have been made a supervisor by their broker must also take the 6-hour Broker Responsibility course to renew
This package is intended for your first renewal. If this is NOT your first salesperson renewal, you need to take Continuing Education package instead.
How fast can I get through the courses?
You have to spend at least as many hours as the credit the course is worth. TREC's rules also say you can’t get credit for more than 12 hours a day.
TREC reinforces this rule by checking how many days you spend in each course and whether there is overlap between courses. You can't start and finish a 30-hour qualifying course in less than 3 days. You also aren't allowed to start and complete more than one qualifying course within the same 3 days.
TREC will not accept your certificate of completion for any one course unless 3 days have elapsed since the date/time you started it.
What is the format of these courses?
Texas SAE courses come in the form of instructional PDFs with quizzes.
What can I do if I lose my certificate?
If you lose your certificate of completion and need a new one, you can contact customer service at (877) 881-2235 or support@360training.com.
When does my course expire?
Your courses will expire one (1) year after you purchase them (the date you submit payment), unless the course itself indicates otherwise.
For more information about course expiration dates, please read our Terms of Use.
What if I need a refund for my training course?
If for some reason you are not happy and would like a refund, send us a request within 72 hours of purchase. Here are the eligibility requirements you must meet:
- Your purchase was made no more than 72 hours prior to your refund request.
- You have NOT:
- Attempted any portion of a test or exam.
- Requested or been issued a certificate of completion.
- Completed 50% or more of the purchased course.
If you meet all of these criteria, submit your refund request in writing via email to support@360training.com with a proof-of-purchase receipt and an explanation for why you are requesting a refund.
You can find more information about our refund policy here.
