What is the Texas UST Training Program?
The environmental, health, and safety hazards of a leaking underground storage tank (UST) cannot be overstated. To prevent accidents and promote awareness, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requires UST system owners and operators to undergo compliance training.
360training.com, in collaboration with the Texas Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (TPCA), offers a Class A and Class B UST Facility Operator Training Course to help you comply with state and federal regulations.
Who Should Take the Texas UST Operator Training Course?
Owners and operators of regulated UST systems must adhere to the training requirements specified in Title 30 TAC 334.601-606. This web-based program from 360training.com and TPCA is recommended for Class A and Class B operators of UST facilities in Texas. It tackles how to operate UST systems safely, satisfy state and federal requirements, and train Class C employees accordingly.
Class A and B operators who were designated after August 8, 2012 must complete a TCEQ-approved course before operating or managing an underground storage tank. Designed to meet the latest TCEQ requirements, the Class A and Class B UST Facility Operator Training Course includes crucial steps to identify, address, and prevent the release of gasoline, diesel, and other fuel products.
