Complete Alabama Continuing Education Coursework Online
Every two years, the Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) requires 15 hours of real estate continuing education (CE) with an approved provider like us.
Our Alabama continuing education courses are delivered entirely online – no commuting to a classroom. You can finish them at your own pace, on your own schedule.
Meet Real Estate CE Requirements with Courses that Interest You
AREC's continuing education requirements for salespersons include;
- 3 mandatory hours in Risk Management
- 12 hours of AREC-approved courses
Note: Any licensee who has not completed the 15-hour CE requirement for license renewal or license activation prior to January 1, 2021, must take the NEW 3-hour Risk Management: Initial Contact to Accepted Offer course to renew or activate a license. This course must be taken even if the previous Level 1 and Level 2 Risk Management courses have been completed.
Get Your Credits On Time
To fulfill your 15-hour CE requirement for an active real estate license, we must submit all CE course credit to the Alabama Real Estate Commission before October 1st. Therefore, all CE courses must be completed before September 30th. Any courses completed after that date may result in an inactive license which will require a license activation fee after the course credit has been submitted.

FAQs
How do I know you're an AREC-approved course provider?
You can look us up on AREC's website. Our Provider ID is 000097091-0.
Are Continuing Education exams proctored?
No, Alabama only requires pre-license and post-license course finals to be proctored. Your Continuing Education can be completed entirely online.
How fast can I get through Continuing Education courses?
By AREC's rules, you can't receive credit for more than 9 hours of continuing education per day.
What is the deadline for completing my continuing education courses?
All licensees must satisfy the 15-hour CE requirement for an active real estate license before October 1st. Therefore, all CE courses must be completed and submitted for credit by providers before the September 30th deadline to avoid a license being forced inactive.
You do NOT have to take Continuing Education courses for your first renewal cycle. Your post-licensing courses fulfill this purpose, instead.
