Complete Colorado Continuing Education Coursework Online

Every 3 years, the Colorado Division of Real Estate (DRE) requires 24 hours of real estate continuing education (CE) with an approved provider like us.

Our online coursework is self-paced and convenient. Study from home or on your phone, stop and start when you need to, and never lose your place.

Meet Real Estate CE Requirements with Courses that Interest You

The DRE's continuing education requirements for non-employing brokers include:

  • Three 4-hour Annual Commission Updates
  • 12 hours of approved electives

We offer the current Commission Update Course every year, as well as a number of packages to help you meet your requirements without a fuss. If the electives in our packages don't interest you, check out our full list of a la carte options!

Get Your Credits On Time

Once you complete each course, you'll be able to download or print a certificate of completion. The DRE doesn't maintain a record of your continuing education.

Instead, each licensee is responsible for keeping proof of completion for a period of four years, so you can provide documentation in the event that you're audited. We keep your certificates attached to your account for five years, to keep you covered.

How do I know you're a DRE-approved course provider?

You can find us as 360training on Colorado's approved provider list. The DRE also publishes the approved providers for their Annual Update every year as a temporary file.

360training is Agent Campus' parent company.

How fast can I get through Continuing Education courses?

The Colorado DRE caps your continuing education work to 8 hours a day. That means you need to spread your electives and current Commission Update out over at least 2 days.

The other two annual updates have to be taken in other calendar years.

What is the deadline for completing my continuing education courses?

For each calendar year, you have to complete one Annual Commission Update by midnight of December 31st. It's important to complete this on time, since courses can't be "made up" in subsequent years.

Your electives are due by the time you renew your license. That's December 31st of your third full calendar year.

That means licensees' initial renewal will be longer than 3 years; the remainder of year in which you're licensed don't count towards your renewal requirements.

When can I renew my Colorado real estate license?

The DRE makes online renewal available 45 days before your expiration.

You also get a 31-day grace period after the expiration to complete your renewal, if needed. That means you can continue practicing real estate as long as you submit your renewal by January 31st of the following year.

There may be additional requirements – check the DRE website for details.
