Delaware's first renewal requirements are a little different from subsequent renewals in terms of educational requirements. You need to complete "Newly-Licensed Salesperson Modules."
For subsequent renewals, Delaware breaks the required 21 hours into 7 different 3-hour modules:
- Module 1 (Agency and Fair Housing)
- Module 2 (Professional Standards)
- Module 3 (Real Estate Documents)
- Module 4 (Office Management)
- Module 5 (Legislative Issues)
- Module 6 (Practices of Real Estate)
- Module 7 (any approved elective OR a course approved for Module 1-6)

What is the Newly-Licensed Salesperson course?
The Newly-Licensed Salesperson modules are required for first-time licensees. It's 12 hours of education that must be completed within the first 12 months of your licensure.
The deadline counts from the date your license was issued and is independent of the renewal cycle. However, as shown above, those Newly-Licensed hours do count towards required CE for your first renewal.
