Every 2 years, the Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA) requires 30 hours of real estate continuing education (CE) with an approved provider (like us!).
Our Oregon CE courses are completed online – no need to commute and sit in a classroom. You can finish them at your own pace, whenever it's convenient for you.
Meet Real Estate CE Requirements with Courses that Interest You
To renew your Oregon real estate broker license, you'll need to complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years through an Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA) Certified Continuing Education Provider. The required coursework depends on whether you're completing your first renewal or a subsequent renewal.
For your first renewal, Oregon requires:
- A 2-hour Fair Housing course
- A 2-hour or 3-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC)
- A 26-hour or 27-hour Broker Advanced Practices (BAP) course from an approved provider
We do not currently offer the Broker Advanced Practices (BAP) course, so first-time renewal students will need to complete that requirement through another approved provider.
For your second and subsequent renewals, you'll complete:
- A 2-hour Fair Housing course
- A 2-hour or 3-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC)
- Additional continuing education courses from OREA Certified Continuing Education Providers until you reach the required 30 total hours
Our Oregon Broker Subsequent Renewal Package is designed for second and subsequent renewals and includes qualifying continuing education courses to help you satisfy Oregon's renewal requirements. If you'd rather customize your education, you can also choose from our individual course offerings to build your own 30-hour renewal package.
After successfully completing each course, you'll receive a certificate of completion for your records. Oregon requires licensees to keep their continuing education certificates for three years after renewal.

How do I know you're an OREA-approved course provider?
You can find us as a Certified Continuing Education Provider on OREA's website under provider # CEP.1091.
It's my first renewal. Can you help me meet my requirements?
No – for your first renewal, you need 27 hours of Broker Advanced Practices (BAP) instead of electives. We don't offer BAP curriculum.
We only offer packages that fulfill second and subsequent renewals.
What is the deadline for completing my continuing education courses?
In Oregon, licenses expire on the last day of your birth month, once every 2 years. The earliest you can submit your renewal request is the first day of that same month.
If it's your first license renewal, the period will be somewhat shorter than 2 years.
