One of the main alterations in the revised 2015 version of ISO 9001 standards is the introduction of systematic and structured processed when it comes to risk assessment. This also included refraining from treating preventative measures as separate from QMS or quality management systems. Risks are present in all aspect of these systems from the processes involved to their functions.
