What is a 10 Hour OSHA Card?

The OSHA Outreach training program promotes workplace health and safety. It can be used as a tool to ensure workers are aware of their safety rights in their workplace, and the common health hazards they might face on the job.

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) developed 2 training courses that cover 10 hours of safety and training.

The 10 hour course for Construction applies to anyone who works in the industry on renovations, buildings, demolitions, and excavations. The 10 hour course for General Industry applies to most other business sectors, such as maintenance, service, manufacturing, food, hospitality, medical, and oil and gas operations among others.

If you are unclear as to which option you should go for or which course is suitable for you, talk to your supervisor.

360Training.com offers both. The OSHA 10-hour Construction training course is meant for managers, foremen, supervisors, staff, and anyone else who works in the construction industry. The course also outlines OSHA basics, the rights of employers and employees, determining ways to select PPE, recognizing workplace hazards, recognizing the role of management, determining types of electrical hazards, and more.

Workers are encouraged to receive additional safety training as per OSHA standards that can cover specific hazards of their job.

Students who clear the course will receive their OSHA 10-hour Construction training completion certificate immediately.
