The OSHA 10 Class and training course is meant for entry level construction workers and it can be taken online via 360training.com. However, please keep in mind that this course is meant for beginners and it should be taken by every worker.
The 10-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training program is designed to teach entry level workers about workplace safety in the construction industry. Students who complete the course will learn how to avoid, abate, prevent, and recognize common hazards.
Besides learning about safety and health hazards that are common in the construction industry, they will also learn about employee and employer responsibilities. However, please keep in mind that workers should get site-specific training as well as per OSHA standards. Once they complete the 10-Hour OSHA safety course, students will receive their official OSHA/DOL card in 6 to 8 weeks.
