About this Course
This 24-hour course on fall protection and prevention covers OSHA requirements and associated criteria for protecting workers from falls in construction workplaces covered under 29 CFR 1926.
The core objectives of this training course are to familiarize learners with the various elements of OSHA’s fall protection standard for the construction industry as well as other standards as it relates to fall protection or prevention, educate them on the fall protection systems available, and best practices when using ladders, stairways, and aerial lifts.
Create a safer worksite with training that aligns with OSHA requirements by OSHA Campus.
Why Should You Take 24-Hour Fall Prevention Training from OSHA Campus?
- Each year in the United States, more than 300 construction workers are killed, and more than 10,000 workers are seriously injured by falls from heights.
- The construction industry accounts for more than 80% of workplace fatalities from roofs, 57% from ladders, and 86% from scaffolds.
- While lack of experience or training is a common cause of such incidents, so is the lack of fall protection or inadequate fall protection.
Who Should Take 24-Hour Fall Prevention Training?
This course is ideal for Superintendents, Foremen, Safety Coordinators, Directors, and other safety personnel responsible for managing fall protection programs or Managers, Supervisors, and workers whose jobs require them to work at heights or on elevated platforms.
Note: OSHA has a separate set of standards for General Industry (non-construction workplaces). This course does NOT satisfy training requirements for non-construction workplaces.
What Do You Get with this Course?

- Flashcards and interactive exercises to engage learners and reinforce essential concepts and standards.
