About this Course
This course explores emergency conditions where decisions have to be made on the run, how to use readings of system frequency, and identify the warning signals when changes in frequency occur. Net interchange, tie-lines, meter readings, system stabilization, isolation, and load shedding are also discussed.
The course will delve into emergency procedures, ways operators can leave the system in the best possible condition for recovery, and how operators can stabilize the system when major disturbances occur.
