About this Course
What is Accident Investigation Training?
Workplace safety is a shared responsibility, and when incidents occur, understanding why they happened is just as important as responding to them. While some contributing factors may be obvious, others are not always immediately apparent, making a thorough investigation essential. This course is designed with Canadian workplaces in mind, complementing frameworks such as the Canadian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) guidelines on workplace incident investigation.
This one-hour course provides a practical overview of accident investigation and reporting procedures. You'll learn how to identify hazards and injuries, document findings accurately, and apply reporting processes that contribute to a safer workplace, helping to ensure that incidents are not just responded to, but prevented in the future.
