About This Course

This 4-hour Annuity Certification course is for Mississippi insurance producers who are either not currently certified in Annuity Suitability or who previously held certification but did not complete the required 1-hour refresher course.

The purpose of this Mississippi-specific course is to ensure that producers act in the best interest of the consumer when making annuity recommendations. It also supports the regulatory requirement that insurers establish and maintain supervision systems to ensure that consumer needs and financial objectives are properly addressed at the time of sale.
