About This Course
Anti-harassment refers to actions taken to prevent, discourage, or stop harassment in the workplace or any other setting where harassment can occur based on a person's protected characteristics, such as gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
Upon completing this training, managers will thoroughly understand how California defines harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and abusive conduct. In addition, they will learn the laws governing different types of harassment, the promotion of an effective anti-harassment or "zero-tolerance" policy, and the importance of documentation for a thorough investigation by a Human Resources department.
This engaging and dynamic course will equip managers with the knowledge to identify and respond to instances of sexual harassment in a timely and appropriate fashion. It will also educate them about the available options when reporting harassment to the company's Human Resources department.
