About This Course
Review and update your knowledge of the laws and rules that regulate your profession in Arizona.
We'll start with a refresher on some of the codes, regulations, and agencies that apply to the real estate industry.
Then we'll look at the most recent changes in the Commissioner's Substantive Policy Statements. You'll consider the specific ways that the Commissioner's Rules play into "real life" real estate and what to do when statutory laws contradict them.
You'll also learn about recent lawsuits that illustrate what not to do, including a landmark lawsuit regarding the Department's stance on disclosure issues.
We'll address the Standard(s) of Care and how they're interpreted in real estate practice. We'll conclude by examining the ways in which the REALTOR® Code of Ethics is consistent with the Commissioner's Standards.
This course satisfies the 3 hours of Commissioner's Standards required for Arizona sales agents.
