Chemical hazards are everywhere which is why hazard communication training is critical for worksite safety. This course aims to teach employees about the potential hazards associated with chemicals they encounter and how to handle them safely. Learn to recognize the health effects and physical hazards of various chemicals, interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and understand chemical labeling. Participants will also learn safe handling procedures, including proper storage and disposal methods and the correct use of personal protective equipment PPE) to minimize exposure risks. Overall, this training promotes workplace safety and compliance with regulations such as OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), reducing the risk of accidents, injuries, and illnesses related to chemical exposure.

Beyond the federal OSHA regulation training, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) requires extra training in accordance with federal OSHA requirements.
