About This Package
The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) requires you to complete 135 hours of DRE-approved pre-license training and pass the state licensing exam in order to earn a California real estate license.
As a DRE-approved online training provider, we developed this Premium Package to set the stage for success in your new career. You'll get the required pre-license courses, a full exam prep package to help you study and gauge your progress, and a free real estate math course to help you prepare for math questions on the licensing exam. As a bonus, you'll also get a free class in client communications.
First, Pass Your Pre-License Training
The DRE's pre-license training requirements include:
- 45 hours of instruction time in Real Estate Principles
- 45 hours of instruction time in Real Estate Practice
- 45 hours of instruction time in Real Estate Finance
The final exam for each course has to be proctored, or supervised, according to DRE rules. You need a score of 60% or higher to pass each course.
Once you pass your final exams, you'll get a certificate of completion for each course to use as proof of training for your exam application.
Then, Prepare for Your State License Exam
California gives you a long leash for passing your state license exam. You have 2 full years from the date you file your exam application. But two years is enough time to forget everything you've learned, so we recommend you take the state exam as soon as you feel prepared.
Our exam prep and math practice courses can help you judge your preparedness. You'll have a condensed study guide to focus your attention on the most important exam concepts, as well as unlimited practice exams drawn from an expansive test bank.

FAQs
How do I know you're a California DRE-approved course provider?
AgentCampus by 360training's Sponsor ID is #6242.
How fast can I get through my pre-license coursework?
There are a few rules dictating pace in California.
The DRE says you have to spend at least 2.5 weeks (18 days) going over each 45-hour course before you can take the final exam.
There is also a rule that no two courses can be finished in less than 5 weeks, to keep you from taking two courses at the same time.
What happens if I fail my course final?
You have two chances to pass each final exam. If you fail the first attempt, California requires you to wait at least 18 more days before you can try again. It also won't be the same set of questions.
If you fail the alternate final exam too, you'll have to enroll in the course all over again.
What is the format of these courses?
These courses are offered in an online instructional format with quizzes to test your learning. At the end of the courses, there will be a final exam.
Who is eligible to apply for a California real estate license?
To get licensed as a real estate agent in California, you have to be a state resident, at least 18 years old. However, you can get licensed out of state if you meet certain requirements.
You also need to disclose any infractions from your past (criminal convictions, violations, or disciplinary actions). Some incidents could disqualify you from getting licensed, but so will lying on your application. There is a rehabilitation process for licensing purposes available, but you have to disclose to be eligible.
How do I apply for my license after my state exam?
There are two ways to tackle the application process in California. You can submit separate applications for exam eligibility and your license, or you can apply for both ("the combined application") before your exam.
The combined application saves time but requires a larger up-front investment. Separate applications spread out the required fees but add 4-8 weeks of processing time since each application has to be reviewed separately.
If you go with the combined application, pass your background check before your exam, and pass your test on the first try, your license can be issued immediately at the testing center.
If you go with separate applications, you'll pass your exam, submit your license application, and wait 4-8 weeks for processing and approval.
When do my courses expire?
Your courses will expire one (1) year after you purchase them (the date you submit payment), unless the course itself indicates otherwise.
For more information about course expiration dates, please read our Terms of Use.
What if I need a refund for my training course?
If for some reason you are not happy and would like a refund, send us a request within 72 hours of purchase. Here are the eligibility requirements you must meet:
Your purchase was made no more than 72 hours prior to your refund request.
You have NOT:
Attempted any portion of a test or exam.
Requested or been issued a certificate of completion.
Completed 50% or more of the purchased course.
If you meet all of these criteria, submit your refund request in writing via email to support@360training.com with a proof-of-purchase receipt and an explanation for why you are requesting a refund.
