About this Course
What is Clean Water Act Day-to-Day Requirements Training?
This course explores the most important sections of the Clean Water Act (CWA).
You'll learn about the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit Program, which regulates the ability to discharge pollutants through a point source into U.S. waters. We'll discuss the different types of NPDES permits, cover guidelines for permit writers, and share updated EPA regulations for the NPDES. You'll also get insight into the development of permit limits and conditions.
Plus, we'll discuss water quality standards, Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) programs, the watershed permit program, and wetlands regulations.
Who Should Take CWA Day-to-Day Requirements?
This course is for anyone who needs to understand the particulars of CWA compliance in day-to-day operations. If you need a more general understanding of the CWA, our CWA overview course may provide a better fit.
