What is Confined Space Entry Training?

Confined spaces are some of the most dangerous areas at a jobsite. And they present a unique challenge because while they are large enough for a person to work in, they’re not designed for it. According to OSHA, some examples of confined spaces include tanks, boilers, manholes, silos, ductwork, and storage bins. 

So, if you find yourself in one of these restricted environments, you’ll need to understand how to safely enter, exit, and work within the space. You’ll also need to understand how to identify a permit-required confined space, sometimes called a permit space.

To address these risks and keep you safe, we offer Confined Space Entry Training. Our course is based on the OSHA 1910.146 permit-required confined space standards for general industry. 

While taking this course, you’ll learn various lessons that will help you safely navigate any confined or tight space you might encounter.

Who Should Take Confined Space Entry for General Industry?

This course is for anyone not in construction who works in or around confined spaces, such as maintenance technicians, pipeline workers, emergency response personnel, safety managers, jobsite supervisors, and other general industry workers.
