About this Course

Excavators are powerful machines and without proper training, those who operate or work near them can be susceptible to accidents, injuries, or deaths. This training ensures that individuals understand safe excavator operation and covers topics such as excavator equipment components, standards, operating procedures, and how to identify and mitigate hazards.

While a specific excavator license may not be mandatory, it's important to note that many states and employers have their own set of requirements and preferred skills when selecting individuals to operate excavators. This program is designed based on OSHA's training requirements.

What’s Included in This Excavator Training?

This course teaches you how to safely operate an excavator, covering topics like machine parts, inspections, trench safety, load limits, and hazard recognition. You’ll learn about safe work practices, machine controls, how to spot hazards, and proper inspection procedures. A certificate of completion will be awarded upon finishing the course.

Who Needs Excavator Certification?
