About this Course

What is Use of Explosives in the Workplace Training? 

This course covers the safe use of explosives in the construction industry.  We'll cover how to store, transport, and use commercial explosives for demolition work. We'll discuss how to avoid any mishaps during handling or use of explosives and blasting agents. 

You'll learn about different types of demolition and the relevant requirements for each. We'll also cover the safety precautions for the demolition of different types of building structures, including special structures and concrete structures. We'll also cover fire prevention and protection. 

You'll learn the OSHA's requirements for preparatory operations, engineering surveys, utility locations, and procedures after blasting.  We'll also discuss what to do when things go wrong, including medical services, first aid, and police and fire contact.  

Who should take Use of Explosives in the Workplace?

Your course will expire one (1) year after you purchase it (the date you submit payment), unless the course itself indicates otherwise.

If for some reason you are not happy and would like a refund, send us a request within 72 hours of purchase. Here are the eligibility requirements you must meet: 

  • Your purchase was made no more than 72 hours prior to your refund request. 
  • You have NOT: 
    • Attempted any portion of a test or exam. 
    • Requested or been issued a certificate of completion. 
    • Completed 50% or more of the purchased course.
