About this Course
Our Fire Safety Training Course is an online, regulation-aligned course that covers fire safety equipment, fire preparedness, and common hazards. It educates you and your staff on fire dangers, causes, control, and prevention practices. This course includes practice quiz questions for the final written exam and a checklist for employers to use when administering practical exams.
This course meets the following OSHA standards:
- OSHA 29 CFR 1910 – General Industry
- 29 CFR 1910.39(b) – Written and Oral Fire Prevention Plans
- 29 CFR 1910.38(b) – Written and Oral Emergency Action Plans
- 29 CFR 1910.36(d) – An Exit Door Must be Unlocked
- 29 CFR 1910.157(d)(1) – Portable Fire Extinguishers Shall be Provided
- 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(1) – “The employer shall be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and testing of all portable fire extinguishers.”
- 29 CFR 1910.106(a)(19) – “Flammable liquid means any liquid having a flashpoint at or below 199.4 °F (93 °C).”
