The fire watch prevents fires, reports any incidents to the fire department, and gives them information about the type of fire occurring. Fire watchers are not always responsible for putting out the fire, unless it is small enough for them to do so safely. Our fire watch course is short, but the responsibility that comes with being a fire watch is huge. The training material covers the obligations of a fire watch and the seriousness of the repercussions if those duties are not taken seriously.

Our Fire Watch training is aligned with the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) training requirements. The training is designed to help students understand the importance of fire watch, identify frequent dangers related to fire watchers, and improve workplace safety via actionable practices.
