About This Course
Beginning January 1, 2025, California law Senate Bill 263 requires newly licensed life agents to complete before soliciting individual consumers for life insurance policies other than term life with no cash value.
Mandatory for agents who sell individual and variable life insurance, this 4-hour course is designed to help you meet that requirement with confidence. Drawing from the state’s Prelicensing Education for Life Agents, the curriculum focuses on the fundamentals of individual life insurance policies that build cash value. You’ll gain clarity on product features, consumer protections, and regulatory expectations, ensuring you’re well prepared to serve clients responsibly and in full compliance with California Insurance Code Section 1749.81.
