About
Cuts and lacerations are the most frequent injuries with both hand and power tools. Slips, using a dull tool, or unexpected tool movement can all lead to cuts. Power tools especially can cause deep lacerations due to their increased cutting power. Our Hand and Power Tool Safety training is crucial for reducing injury risks on any construction site. Online training for operators is an effective way to ensure employee compliance while also reducing the risk of death or injury while on the worksite.
Beyond the federal OSHA regulation training, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) requires extra training in accordance with federal OSHA requirements. Completing this training course ensures that you meet the requirements for workplace safety specific to your job. Each class contains sections on the different types of guards, handles and switches, cutting and fastening tools, and common hazards to watch for, and more. This presentation includes intermittent practice quiz questions to prepare for the final exam included with the course. A downloadable and printable certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.
