About this Course
What is Lockout Tagout Safety Training?
To keep workers safe while they are performing maintenance and repair work on dangerous machines, you need to follow the right procedures to disable machinery. Our lockout/tagout safety course will ensure you know how to properly shut down machines so that they don’t release potentially hazardous energy.
Additionally, the course reviews the OSHA standard for the Control of Hazardous Energy found in CFR Part 1910.147 to keep you in compliance. You’ll learn about definitions relating to OSHA standards, lockout/tagout devices, different types of energy, energy control plans, safe work practices, and common hazards.
