About this Package

To apply for a real estate license in New York, you need to take 75 hours of pre-license education from a training provider that's approved by the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS) like us.

This Basic Package includes all mandatory pre-license education, plus a free real estate math course to provide extra preparation for your state exam's math questions.

Each of the 19 required topics ends with a short quiz to prepare you for the final exam.

By NYSDOS's rules, your final exam must be monitored (or "proctored") to ensure no one cheats. Usually, that means an in-person test with an approved proctor.

However, we offer Online Proctoring for New York's pre-licensing course. You can schedule your exam any weekday between 7am and 10pm Central Standard Time (CST). You'll take the test in front of a live proctor who will watch you via webcam.

To pass the course, you need a grade of 70% or higher on the final. You'll get a certificate of completion for your own records. We'll also report your credits to NYSDOS within 15 days.

Once your pre-license coursework is done, you'll schedule your state licensing exam through New York's online licensing portal.

Note: Our Premium Package comes with an Exam Prep course and a money-back guarantee; this Basic Package does not. You might want to select the Premium Package instead for help getting ready for the state license exam. You can buy exam prep separately later, but the Premium Package will save you a little money.
