About This Course

The NYC Department of Buildings (DOB)'s Local Law 196 requires Supervisors at NYC jobsites with a Site Safety Plan to complete 62 hours of mandatory Site Safety Training (SST). This includes Site Safety Managers, Site Safety Coordinators, Concrete Safety Managers, Construction Superintendents and Competent Persons designated by Construction Superintendents. If you've already completed 40-hour SST Worker training, you can upgrade to your SST Supervisor card with the following 22 hours of included courses:

Prescribed Courses:
- 8-Hour Site Safety - 0.8 CEUs
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher - 0.4 CEUs
- 2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SSP) - 0.2 CEUs
- 2-Hour Tool Box Talks - 0.2 CEUs
- 2-Hour Pre-Task Safety Meetings - 0.2 CEUs
General Electives:
- 1-Hour Hand and Power Tools - 0.1 CEUs
- 1-Hour Protection From Sun Exposure - 0.1 CEUs

You will be issued your SST card after you complete all required hours, score at least 75% on all quizzes and final exams, and provide a copy of your SST Worker card and identity verification documents.

NOTE:

This 22-Hour NYC SST product is intended for individuals already enrolled in the 40-Hour NYC SST Worker package (with 30-Hour OSHA Outreach) who require additional SST supervisor training.
This package will NOT satisfy the requirements for individuals who have previously completed the new entrants package (with 10-Hour OSHA Outreach). The courses in both packages overlap, and completion of both cannot be reported twice within a renewal cycle.
If you have already completed the new entrants package, please be aware that purchasing this 22-Hour NYC SST product will not fulfill your renewal obligations.

How to Verify a SST Card?

Before issuing a Site Safety Training (SST) Card 360training.com, Inc. verifies all identity and/or prior training documentation to ensure the student has fulfilled all requirements. All cards issued by 360training.com, Inc. contain a QR Code which can be scanned to verify a student’s eligibility.

However, the validity of a SST training card issued by 360training.com, Inc. can also be verified via email. Please send us the below details along with your request and allow us upto 3-5 business days to verify, process and respond.

How do I get my SST card?

Your SST card will be issued after completing all required hours. Learners must spend the required time in all courses, and score at least a 75% on all quizzes and final exams. Completion Certificate and/or SST Card will not be issued without a photograph and valid identity.

How Quickly Will I Get My Certificate of Completion?

Upon successful completion of all required coursework and exams, you must provide documentation that verifies your identity and address, a recent passport-style photo, and an affidavit confirming that you completed the training yourself without outside assistance.

If you completed eligible courses with a provider other than 360training and want to apply those credits toward your SST card, you must also submit the corresponding proof of completion documents for validation.

In line with NYC DOB SST requirements, your certificate of completion will be issued only after all required materials have been received, reviewed, and approved. Please allow sufficient processing time for verification before your certificate is available to download or print.
