The NYC Department of Buildings (DOB)'s Local Law 196 requires Supervisors at NYC jobsites with a Site Safety Plan to complete 62 hours of mandatory Site Safety Training (SST). This includes Site Safety Managers, Site Safety Coordinators, Concrete Safety Managers, Construction Superintendents and Competent Persons designated by Construction Superintendents. How often do I need to renew SST training?

As of September 2020, the NYC Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) requires individuals to renew their (Site Safety Training (SST) certifications every five (5) years. This applies to all workers, supervisors, and managers who are required to complete the SST training.

As regulations and requirements may change over time, it is recommended to check with the NYC DOB for the most up-to-date information regarding SST training renewal. You can renew your SST card by successfully completing a NYC DOB-approved refresher course.

How to Verify a SST Card?

Before issuing a Site Safety Training (SST) Card 360training.com, Inc. verifies all identity and/or prior training documentation to ensure the student has fulfilled all requirements. All cards issued by 360training.com, Inc. contain a QR Code which can be scanned to verify a student’s eligibility.

However, the validity of a SST training card issued by 360training.com, Inc. can also be verified via email. Please send us the below details along with your request and allow us upto 3-5 business days to verify, process and respond.

How do I get my SST card?

Your SST card will be issued after completing all required hours. Learners must spend the required time in all courses, and score at least a 75% on all quizzes and final exams. Completion Certificate and/or SST Card will not be issued without a photograph and valid identity.
