About this Course
What is OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Training?
To raise awareness about safety procedures and reduce on-the-job fatalities and accidents, OSHA developed outreach training programs for today’s workforce. There are two different training programs specifically for construction workers: OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour.
Each of the courses covers the OSHA regulatory requirements for workplace safety found in the 29 CFR 1926 for the construction industry—and when you select this package, you get both courses.
Who Should Take Construction Industry Training?
If you’re just getting started in construction or you don’t have any managerial duties, the OSHA 10-Hour course will prepare you for the potential hazards you'll come across in your daily job. This includes how to protect yourself from the top-four leading causes of fatalities in construction: falls, struck by object, electrocution, and caught in between.
If you are a supervisor or have additional safety responsibilities, the OSHA 30-Hour course is ideal for advanced-level safety training. It goes over additional topics that will help you monitor safety procedures and create safety programs to keep your construction team safe while they’re working.
Please Note: The OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training course includes and expands on the topic from the OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Training course. Additionally, OSHA does not require you to obtain an OSHA 10 DOL card before pursuing an OSHA 30 DOL card. Please consult with your employer regarding which training your needs.

What are the course completion requirements to earn CEUs?
To successfully complete the course and earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs), you must:
- Complete the required time within the course curriculum before the course is considered finished.

- Pass all quizzes and the final exam with a minimum score of 70% within three attempts or fewer before a certificate of completion can be issued and CEUs can be awarded.**
*How is identity validated during the course?
360training verifies each learner’s identity through periodic validation questions during the learning event. At the beginning of the course, learners are prompted to answer a series of personal validation questions. These responses are securely saved in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- What is your childhood nickname?
- What is the name of your favorite childhood friend?
- What is your oldest cousin’s first name?
Throughout the course, the LMS will prompt learners to answer these validation questions at preset intervals (e.g., every ten minutes).
- If a learner answers correctly, they are allowed to continue.
- Incorrect responses may result in the learning event being temporarily locked.
This process ensures the individual completing the course is the same person who enrolled.
**How are CEUs calculated?
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, CEUs will be awarded according to the following standard:
- 10 hours of education = 1.0 CEUs
- 30 hours of education = 3.0 CEUs
- 5 hours of education = 0.5 CEUs
Important: Partial credit or adjusted CEUs are not awarded. Learners must fully meet all course requirements, including identity validation, time-in-course, and passing scores, to receive CEUs.
