How Long Does Overhead Crane Certification Last?
There is no official OSHA-issued “Overhead Crane Certification.” The term is often used to refer to a training certificate of completion from a recognized provider such as OSHAcampus® by 360training. While these certificates do not have a federally mandated expiration date, many employers and worksites recognize them for up to three years. Your employer or local regulations may require refresher training sooner, especially if there’s been a safety incident, equipment change, or a break in crane operation.
Is This Overhead Crane Course Hard?
This will depend on your experience and familiarity with crane operations. The course is designed to be easy-to-understand and practical, with interactive modules and real-world examples. If you stay engaged with the material, most learners find it very manageable.
