About this Course
What is Overhead Crane Operator Safety Training?
If you’re operating an overhead crane, such as a bridge crane or a gantry crane, you need to take a training course to maintain compliance with OSHA regulations. Our I-CAB recognized operator safety course introduces overhead cranes, reviews common overhead crane safety hazards, and discusses safety best practices for operating an overhead crane.
You’ll also learn how to inspect and maintain overhead cranes, as well as common hazards you might encounter while lifting and moving heavy materials.
Who Should Take the Overhead Crane Training Course?
While OSHA only requires overhead crane operators to take a safety training course, the information in the training can be helpful for all people who work in close proximity to overhead cranes.
