About this Course
If your job requires you to operate an electric pallet jack, OSHA regulations require you to complete safety training to be certified. You may not believe it but OSHA classifies electric pallet jacks as Class III forklifts. That means as an operator you are required to complete training for motorized operators to comply with federal law. While manual pallet jack operators do not need certification, it is still a good idea to be aware of safety regulations.
Our online Pallet Jack Safety Training course is regulation-aligned and meets classroom training requirements, covering anatomical components, stability principles, safe operations, and avoiding hazards. We also include practice quiz questions for the final written exam and a checklist for employers to use when administering a practical exam.
This course covers the following OSHA standards:

- 29 CFR 1910.178 – Powered Industrial Trucks
