About this Package

This South Carolina CE Renewal Package designed to help anyone who is NOT a "Broker in Charge" meet their real estate continuing education requirements. That includes salespersons and any brokers without the "in charge" designation.

To renew your license, the South Carolina Real Estate Commission (SCREC) requires 10 hours of continuing education every other year. If you're NOT a Broker in Charge, these requirements include:

  • 4 hours of required "core" curriculum (whose content changes every 24 months)
  • 6 hours of approved electives

This particular package fulfills your elective requirements with a single 6-hour course exploring the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.

Adherence to the NAR Code of Ethics is important if you want to retain your NAR membership – violation can result in suspension. Our course will help you adopt ethical processes and steer clear of ethical violations.

After you successfully complete each course, we'll report your credits to SCREC. You'll also get a certificate of completion that you can keep for your own records.

FAQs

How do I know you're a SCREC-approved course provider?

Our SCREC Provider ID is #04.

Who is exempt from continuing education requirements?

SCREC's continuing education requirements don't apply to anyone licensed as a Property Manager, Property Manager in Charge, or Timeshare Salesperson. Salesperson, Broker, or Broker-in-Charge licensees who are "inactive" also don't need to take CE until they choose to reactivate.

Under certain other conditions, you may also be partly or fully exempt from CE requirements – you can find the full list on SCREC's website.

How fast can I get through Continuing Education courses?

You can't spend more than 8 hours on coursework a day, so your full CE will take at least 2 days.

What is the deadline for completing my continuing education courses?

Licenses expire after two years on June 30th. If you don't complete your CE before your license expires, you can only renew into "inactive" status. At that point, you'll have to meet your CE requirement.

When do my courses expire?

Your courses will expire one (1) year after you purchase them (the date you submit payment), unless the course itself indicates otherwise.

For more information about course expiration dates, please read our Terms of Use

What if I need a refund for my training course?

If for some reason you are not happy and would like a refund, send us a request within 72 hours of purchase. Here are the eligibility requirements you must meet:

  • Your purchase was made no more than 72 hours prior to your refund request.
  • You have NOT:
    • Attempted any portion of a test or exam.
    • Requested or been issued a certificate of completion.
    • Completed 50% or more of the purchased course.

If you meet all of these criteria, submit your refund request in writing via email to support@360training.com with a proof-of-purchase receipt and an explanation for why you are requesting a refund.

You can find more information about our refund policy here.
