About
Stormwater pollution refers to the contamination of natural water bodies, such as rivers, lakes, streams, and oceans, by various pollutants carried or washed into these water bodies through stormwater runoff. Many regions have regulations and permits under the Clean Water Act and other environmental laws that require the prevention and control of stormwater pollution. Businesses, industries, and construction sites must comply with these regulations to avoid penalties and legal liabilities.
The training covers the Comprehensive Clean Gang Program (CGP), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, best management practices (BMPs), Notice of Intent and Notice of Termination, their proper usage and inspection, and the filing requirements for these documents. The presentation includes practice quiz questions to help prepare for the final exam and includes a downloadable certificate of completion.
