About this Course
One of the most important things you'll do as a real estate licensee is preparing and review offers for buyers and sellers. In Texas, this involves specific promulgated forms.
The Canons of Professional Ethics require real estate licensees to be knowledgeable about promulgated contract forms, in terms of what goes in the blanks, but also what's in the pre-printed portion of the contract.
This course covers the content of key promulgated forms, as well as the legal restrictions on how you are allowed to discuss the contracts with clients as a licensee. You'll learn about the prohibition against giving legal advice, as well as the ways you are allowed to point out verbiage in the contract form.
This course fulfills Texas pre-license educational requirements.
Note: The course itself is delivered via PDF, while the exam will need to be taken online.
