About This Package
This Virginia CE Renewal Package has everything you need as a salesperson to complete your second and subsequent renewal requirements. Please note, this course package is valid for license renewals before and after June 30, 2026. It includes the full 16 hours required, with coursework that meets both the previous and updated guidelines introduced on July 1, 2024.
The Virginia Real Estate Board (VREB) requires 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years. That must include:
- 3 hours of Ethics & Standards of Conduct
- 2 hours in Fair Housing
- 2 hours in Legal Updates and Emerging Trends (with flood instruction)
- 2 hours in Real Estate Agency
- 2 hours in Real Estate Contracts
- 5 approved elective hours
In this package, you'll get all your required instructional hours, and satisfy your elective hours with:
- 3 hours on Liens, Taxes, and Foreclosures
- 2 hours on Leases
After you receive a passing score on the final exam of each class, you must submit a notarized affidavit to us certifying compliance with course requirements. Once we receive it, your completion certificates will be made available on your LMS profile. We'll also report your credits to VREB in 3-5 days.
Note: This package is for salespersons' second and subsequent renewals. If this is your first renewal as a salesperson, you need post-license education instead. Unfortunately, we don't offer post-license – you'll need to look for another provider.

FAQs
How do I know you're a VREB-approved course provider?
360training is an approved education provider by the Virginia Real Estate Board (VREB), which ensures our courses meet state regulatory standards for continuing education. Our VREB Certification Number is 0211000317.
What is the deadline for completing my continuing education courses?
Virginia requires license renewal every 2 years by the last day of the month in which you were initially licensed.
For example, if your license is issued March 5th, your renewal deadlines will fall on every other March 31st.
Your application and proof of CE have to be RECEIVED (not just postmarked) by the deadline in order to be "on time." You can't practice after the expiration if you're late, so it's important to get your paperwork in early.
The earliest you can begin the renewal process is 60 days before your license expires.
Can I roll extra CE hours over into my next renewal period?
VREB allows you to roll over CE hours under specific circumstances. If you meet all your requirements in one renewal period, any courses you take in the last six months can count towards the next renewal. You can learn more on VREB's website.
When do my courses expire?
Your courses will expire one (1) year after you purchase them (the date you submit payment), unless the course itself indicates otherwise.
For more information about course expiration dates, please read our Terms of Use.
What if I need a refund for my training course?
If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may request a refund. However, certain eligibility requirements must be met.
You can find more information about our refund policy here.
