According to the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB)'s Local Law 196 , construction workers at all job sites in NYC with a Site Safety Plan must renew their Site Safety Training (SST) by taking an 8-hours of DOB-approved SST. Every five years, workers must complete this training.
This package satisfies your SST Worker renewal requirements. It includes the following courses:
- 4-Hour Fall Prevention
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold
You will receive your SST card after you complete the course, score 75% or higher on the course assessments and final exam, and provide proof of identity.

How do I get my SST card?
Receive your SST card after you complete the course, score at least 75% on the course quizzes and final exams, and provide identity verification documents.
Completion Certificate and/or SST Card will not be issued without a photograph and valid identity.
