Elevated scaffolds create many hazards that can cause injury to workers, pedestrians, and contractors if not installed correctly.

This refresher course covers federal and local regulations for using supported scaffolds in New York City.

We’ll also provide a review of injury prevention while working on or near scaffolds. This includes personal protective equipment (PPE), identifying unsafe conditions, passive and active fall protection, and an emergency situation review.

This course is a requirement for earning or renewing your Site Safety Training (SST) card.

After completing the lessons and passing the 20-question final exam with a score of at least 75%, you'll get a certificate of completion. You get three attempts to pass the final quiz. Each lesson includes a preparation quiz.
