The Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager Exam is designed to test and assess food managers on competencies relevant to food protection. The intent of this examination is to certify that each food manager has demonstrated by means of a food safety certification examination to a certifying organization that he or she has the knowledge, skills and abilities required to protect the public from food borne illness.

A 3rd party test center is a location outside of your company location. This will be proctored by an employee of the test center location. After your purchase is complete, please visit www.PSIExams.com to schedule your exam.  

The Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager Certification is approved by the American National Standards Institute and the Conference for Food Protection (ANSI-CFP).   The exam will be proctored by an employee at the test center location.  After purchasing the exam, please  visit https://candidate.psiexams.com/ to schedule your exam.  A candidate must pass a food safety examination from an accredited certification provider as recognized by ANSI-CFP. The certificate will be valid for a maximum period of 5 years. We do recommend checking with your local health department as certificates may expire sooner.

Upon successful completion and passing of the Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager Exam, your official certificate of completion will be mailed within 15 days.
 

Quiz Information

Each quiz in the Learn2Serve Food Safety Management Principles course must be passed with 70% or higher to move forward to the next lesson.
 

Exams

The Learn2Serve Food Safety Management Principles course must be passed with a 75%. The Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager Certification must be passed with a 64% or higher in order to receive a certificate of completion.

How to Become a Food Safety Manager in New Mexico?

Applicants can take an approved Food Safety Manager course and pass the exam at the end of the program to become a certified food manager in New Mexico. The student will be granted access to a temporary certificate that is available for print and download, while the official certificate will be mailed not more than 10 days after the completion of the course.

Do Food Managers Need to be Certified Before Working in New Mexico?

The food safety training management course for New Mexico is completely voluntary, but may be required by your jurisdiction and often, by employers.
