Interpersonal Communication Training

Interpersonal communication can take many forms—oral, written, and nonverbal communication. Typically, however, Interpersonal communication implies the spoken, face-to-face communication that takes place between two or more individuals.

In this course, we will explore the tried-and-true interpersonal communication tools that can empower each of us to feel more confident, comfortable, and effective in our face-to-face interpersonal communications, both in our personal and professional lives.

The course will cover tips and tricks for how to comfortably begin meaningful conversations, and how to ask the right questions to inspire deeper, more memorable communication.

We will investigate the power of active listening, and recognize the potential of engaged conversation to provide the opportunity for the free exchange of ideas and for making people feel great about themselves and the people with whom they are engaging.

By using the tools presented in this course, you will never again be stuck in boring conversations, engaged in rambling nervous chatter, or struggle through the dreaded "awkward silence."
