The major components that make up a combined cycle plant include the gas turbine, heat recovery steam generator, steam turbine, and various other components making up the balance of plant. This module introduces these components and describes their purposes and theory of operation. In addition, the module provides an overview of the auxiliary systems found in combined cycle plants.
