Emergency Action Plan

Every year workers are injured or die because of nonexistent or inappropriate exit routes. Too often, inadequate emergency action plans are responsible for more casualties and fatalities than the actual emergency.

Our 'Emergency Action Plan' course covers the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for emergency action plans and should be taken by all workers covered by OSHA. It will give you a basic understanding of the standards for emergency action plans, emergency exits, and fire protection plans. You will also learn about fire detection and extinguishing systems. Familiarity with these plans in any workplace can save lives.

Below are the learning objectives of our 'Emergency Action Plan' course:

• Explore general requirements of exit routes.
• Describe emergency action plans.
• Emphasize the essential aspects of a Fire Protection Plan.
• Explain training and other essential factors associated with means of exit and fire protection.

Lesson 2: The Plans

• Emergency Action Plan
• Fire Protection Plan
• Housekeeping
• Exit Routes

Lesson 3: Fire Detection and Extinguishing Systems – General

• Fire Detection Systems
• Fixed Extinguishing Systems
• Total Flooding Applications

You will be required to take and pass the ‘Quiz Assessments’ and ‘Post Assessment’ (Final Exam) by achieving a passing score of 70% or above to successfully complete the course.
