Additional Information
What is MSHA Annual Refresher Training?
MSHA Annual Refresher Training is a Mine Safety and Health Administration course to retrain miners based on the Title 30 CFR - Part 46 regulations and keep them safe and healthy against workplace hazards. The course includes 9 topics, namely, introduction to mining environment, hazard recognition and avoidance, emergency procedures, health and safety aspects of tasks and operations, reporting rules and procedures, statutory miners rights, the line of authority, respiratory devices, and first aid.
The dangers of working in a mining environment are real and always present. To minimize accidents and injuries, the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires surface miners and mining contractors to take a safety training course before working in a mine and to complete a refresher program on an annual basis.
360training.com's MSHA Annual Refresher Training meets the initial training requirements specified Title 30 CFR Part 46 regulations. Designed in accordance with MSHA's training guidelines, this online refresher program includes over 8 hours of effective mining specific training.
