How Can I Take My California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) State Administered Exam?
Upon receiving an email notification from California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) regarding your state administered exam, you have to login on your account in California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Portal. Then, scroll down at the bottom of your Dashboard and click the 'Take Exam' button under the 'Server Training' box.
The California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) State Administered Examination is open book, self-paced, contains 50 multiple-choice questions and the passing score is 70%. You will have (3) three attempts to pass the test and it must be completed within 30 days of the date you completed your TIPS CA RBS On-Premise Alcohol Training course. If you do not take and pass the California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) State Administered Exam within 30 days, it will expire. You will be required to retake TIPS CA RBS On-Premise Alcohol Training course, pay another $3 fee, and take and pass the California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) State Administered Exam.
