Before completing your course, please complete the pre-registration process online with the Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC). By doing so, you will receive a Pre-license Student Identification (ID) Number. This information will expedite the exchange of information among your instructor, the exam provider and the State of Alabama to allow the scheduling of your State license exam and license issuance.

**If you were previously licensed in Alabama, you do not receive a new registration number. Please provide your license number to our Customer support team.**

To get your Pre-license Student ID Number, please visit the Alabama Real Estate Commission. 

On the next page, you will be ask to enter your Social Security Number as shown below.

Please note that your Social Security Number will be on file with the Commission and not made available to other parties.

After entering your Social Security Number, click ‘Continue’.

Then, you will have to complete the Commission online pre-registration as shown below.

·         Entering your personal information is required.

       Please enter our School Number, 000097091. By provding our School Number we will be notified of your Prelicense Student ID Registration. This is an optional field, however, this will exepedite the reporting of your credit. 

      You are required to create a username and password. 

§  Username must be at least 8 alphanumeric characters.

§  Password must be at least 10 alphanumeric characters.

§  Password must include at least one uppercase character, one lowercase character, and one number.

§  Password cannot be License Number, Username, or Licensee Name.

§  Do NOT use special characters such as !@#$%^&*() etc.

You will receive an email confirmation with your identification number. Please provide your ID number to our Customer Support and we will submit your course credit to AREC. You will receive a confirmation notice from PSI/AMP to schedule your examination once your course credits have been submitted.
