Do I need to take a final exam for my Texas Real Estate courses?

You will be required to take and pass a final examination for your Qualifying Real Estate (Pre-Licensing and Sales Apprentice Education (SAE)) courses, as well as for the below Non-Elective Continuing Education (CE) courses: TREC Legal Update I (2020-2021) TREC Legal Update II (2020-2021) Broker Responsibility Course (2019‐2020) You will not be required to take a final examination for ELECTIVE Continuing Education (CE) courses. As per TREC Rule, effective June 16, 2020, ELECTIVE Continuing Education (CE) courses offered through distance education no longer require a final examination.
