Louisiana Bar Card Training Online

Each state has its own laws regarding the service and sale of alcohol. Our Louisiana Bar Card training course equips employees with a working knowledge of Louisiana's alcohol laws, and responsible service practices.

1. Take an RV Class: Enroll in an authorized provider Louisiana Responsible Vendor training course, like ours. These courses can be taken online or in person and cover subjects like checking ID’s, dealing with intoxication, and understanding alcohol-related laws in Louisiana.

2. Pass the Exam: At the end of the RV course, you will need to pass an exam with a score of at least 70%. We will provide you with a certification of completion. 

3. Obtain Your Bar Card: After passing the exam, we will report your training to the Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control. Then, your official bar card will be available for you to print from their website within 4–7 days.

Anyone who wants to serve alcohol or is an employee of a vendor authorized to sell or serve alcoholic beverages is required to complete an approved alcohol server training course. Once the course has been completed, trainees will be sent their Louisiana Bar Card.

Yes. Louisiana requires ANY employee of an establishment authorized to sell or serve alcoholic beverages to complete Louisiana Responsible Vendor Training within 45 days of starting employment.

Once you complete an RV Class from an approved provider, such as Learn2Serve by 360training, you are Louisiana RV Server Certified. You'll get a temporary certificate of completion and the provider will notify LA-ATC of your status.

Your employer can then confirm your certification on the LA-ATC's website. The LA-ATC no longer mails an official Louisiana bar card, but you can download or print a copy on their website.
