This course does not replace the need for a good foundation of basic electricity, as well as familiarization with system operations and NERC Standards. NERC recommends that the content outlines for the specific NERC certification exams be used in conjunction with the following study references:

At the completion of each of the first three modules there will be a quiz. The goal is to help you prepare to take one of the four types of NERC certification exams.

The package also includes NERC Readiness Practice Reliability Operator Exam; this Final Exam consists of 125 questions. You must complete the exam in the maximum time of 3 hours. Please select the most correct answer from the multiple choices provided. A passing score will be determined by the type of exam you are taking and your score resulting from that exam. If you do not receive a passing score the first time, we suggest you re-take the entire module; but at your choice after studying, you may elect just to re-take the practice exam. The exam you re-take must be the same exam you have specified initially.
